Verity Jane Gruger

After 12 hours of trying, it was determined that big Gruger head of hers was not going to fit through that Wisner pelvis. So Dad accompanied Mom into the OR and minutes later VJ was delivered at 8:29 PM CST, at 8 lbs. 4 oz., 21 in, with a 9 Apgar score.

She has a lumpy head, Popeye squint, signs of blond hair, and the early concensus is she looks a lot like Erin as a newborn, though I saw shades of Aunt Megan in there as well.

What has started out as a long day looks like it will turn an even longer night as she has a set of lungs and has enjoyed using them since she emerged.
