We arrived at the hospital about two hours ago and settled in. Erin is hooked up to the Oxytocin, and the nurses tell her she's having contractions, but she can't feel them! She had trouble sleeping last night, so she's actually drowsing off! I'm sure that will change once the contractions kick in.
There's a monitor for the baby's heart so we hear her heart beats in the background. Other than that, it's pretty boring!
The nurses seem excited to have a fellow nurse as a patient.
Erin is already hungry, but no food until 2 hours after the delivery.

Well you're all on your way. Good luck and hope the birthing process goes quickly - for all involved.
